4th Graders Explore Angles and Protractors

In May, students in Ms. Fowler’s 4th grade class learned all about angles and how to measure them using protractors. To help bring the lesson to life, students used masking tape to create angles all over their desks.

Once the angles were in place, students practiced using protractors to measure them. The classroom was filled with teamwork, problem-solving, and lots of math discussions as students worked carefully to find accurate measurements.

This hands-on activity gave students the opportunity to apply their learning in a fun and engaging way. By creating and measuring their own angles, students developed a stronger understanding of geometry concepts while building confidence in using a new math tool.
